International Students

Are you a Clare student from somewhere interesting and not in the UK? Then get in touch with our reps! We know that settling into a new place can be difficult and you’re sure to find a warm welcome with the many international projects listed below. We also run events for international freshers.

The International Student Welcome (ISW) is intended to provide friendship and support for students arriving at Cambridge University. It is organised by friendly students who know Cambridge well and who are willing to solve those important little (and big) questions with answers that aren’t always easy to find on your own.

Compass Café is a coffee bar run for international students in Cambridge. It is run by Christian students from the university. It’s a great opportunity for these students to make lots of new friends from the university and all over the world, learning about Jesus and reading about him in the Bible. They run optional Bible studies, which anybody is welcome to come to, even they’ve never heard of Jesus or don’t believe in Him. See the Compass Café website to find out more.

Another way of finding out about what Christians believe (or to just chat about life as an international in Cambridge) is to get in touch with us.
